Hot Award Presenter: “And the Silver W3 Award Winner is… Fifty Studio!”
Fifty Studio: “Boy, this is heavy…
There’s just so many people I should thank for this Silver W3 Award. First off I’d like to thank my parents, for continually forgetting Fifty Studio’s name and not really having any idea what it is that we do. It’s that kind of support that pushed me through all the hard times.
I have to thank my wife for pretending to be interested in all the sites that I show her. It can’t be easy faking it so often!
A quick shout out to some very important people: CakePHP and the dev team – you helped us bake a mean site. MAMP – you’re the tireless workhorse. My chair – for supporting me during those long nights. Photoshop and Flash – Your names may sound risque but you’re the wind beneath our wings. We can’t forget the Godfather – Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
Last, I have to thank myself for actually creating this amazing website. I couldn’t have done it without me! Thank you!”
Yesterday we got it stuck in our heads to rearrange our desks at the office. And when you start doing that you inevitably have to clean up the little messes hiding behind computers, under desks, and even on desks.
Ever since then our productivity has increased by at least 1000%, as you can see from the picture.
We’re having a little competition. We’ve got two tickets to Batman The Dark Knight. They’re good until August 31, 2008 and are worth up to $25.50 for you New Yorkers.

Here’s how it works. Tell us what this photo below is. That’s all. The first correct answer wins the tickets. Enter name, email and answer in the form after the photo. (That’s all your info will be used for).

In the UtahPianoLessons.com post Russ briefly mentioned his SEO brain. Since some people out there might not know exactly what he meant, we thought we’d post a quick diagram of Russ’ brain to help explain.
There are basically 4 parts to Russ’ brain. The most dominant region is concerned with SEO and internet marketing. This is what makes Russ such a great marketer online. He’s always thinking of new strategies or marketing implementations online for our projects.
The next two major areas of Russ’ brain deal with baseball and root beer. When he’s not talking about SEO, he’s normally talking about baseball or his love of root beer. We try to keep him from letting his mind get to these areas while he’s at work.
The last area of Russ’ brain consists of mothballs. You can usually see this part of his brain at work immediately following lunch when he sits and stares blankly at his computer for an hour or so.
Hope this was educational.

The perspective and movement when moving your mouse is amazing. We’re jealous (mostly because we didn’t think of this first).
A few of us were talking about pianos this morning, and my SEO brain said “I wonder who owns UtahPianoLessons.com?” Nothing else needs to be said.
See for yourself.
