There’s just so many people I should thank for this Silver W3 Award. First off I’d like to thank my parents, for continually forgetting Fifty Studio’s name and not really having any idea what it is that we do. It’s that kind of support that pushed me through all the hard times.

I have to thank my wife for pretending to be interested in all the sites that I show her. It can’t be easy faking it so often!

A quick shout out to some very important people: CakePHP and the dev team – you helped us bake a mean site. MAMP – you’re the tireless workhorse. My chair – for supporting me during those long nights. Photoshop and Flash – Your names may sound risque but you’re the wind beneath our wings. We can’t forget the Godfather – Sir Tim Berners-Lee.

Last, I have to thank myself for actually creating this amazing website. I couldn’t have done it without me! Thank you!”

Yesterday we got it stuck in our heads to rearrange our desks at the office. And when you start doing that you inevitably have to clean up the little messes hiding behind computers, under desks, and even on desks.

Ever since then our productivity has increased by at least 1000%, as you can see from the picture.

Remember how I mentioned Weezer’s song King as song of the week? Well, every time we were headed to lunch, a client meeting or even just on the freeway, Carolina Liar’s song I’m Not Over seemed to come on the radio.

Fifty Studio has done some web work for Apx Alarm (disclosure?). Regardless, it’s still pretty cool to see a company send some 100 employees to the gulf coast to help hurricane victims.

We frequently seem to have one song that gets played often during a week at Fifty Studio. This was that song last week.

The Tampa Bay Rays and the beloved Boston Red Sox are in a close race for the AL East pennant… I wonder how the Rays feel about the Red Sox. Link bait anyone? (Click on photo to enlarge).

How do I find the “Block URL?”

On the right side of the person’s Twitter page, scroll to the bottom of their “following” where you’ll see a link that says “block @username.” Click. On the next page it will ask you if you are sure you want to block this person. Copy and paste that URL in the “block url” field of our form in addition to their username. Hit submit, and we’ll add it to the list.
